Brainbug

"Last night the brainbug was in your head.
Naturally, you fell in love with it."
You just killed a man, but that's okay. The urge to possess something can force people into doing terrible things. But the end justifies the means and nobody can stop you from achieving your goal: the Brainbug.
A playthrough of this short point and click game should take you about 15 minutes and offers a weird little story and a few small puzzles.
This is the first game I made on my own and it was mainly meant to help me get into game development. But I liked the outcome and therefor I decided to release it. If you enjoy it, there's more to come!

Hello, I played this game and I really enjoyed it, it was very fun, I'd love to play more games with this style, good work :)
This is a very fun short point and click game. The atmosphere is very well executed through the minimalist dark artstyle combined with fitting music and sounds.
I thought the final puzzle was really smart and while not too hard it's satisfying when you figure out the concept.
Great job for a first project and good luck with future ones!

Was a pretty neat game; liked the aesthetic, ambience and especially loved the music. Everything seemed a little surreal but that addde to the mystery of the whole game, which was cool to see.
The puzzle I didn't get, but I understood while editing my video; it was pretty intuitive if the player kept a lookout for the buildings, and it was a pretty neat game overall!
I just loved it!! The creepiness and darkness of this game was so good!! Great work!!

This was twisted, grim, and beautiful, I LOVED it, naturally. The puzzles all made sense (as much as they could make sense anyway) and the ominous story was spot on!

I loved everything in it, puzzles, environment, story, which made me think a lot and put the ending to a subjective perspective. All together, made with polished grotesque style and simple, yet complicated object.
The one thing that "bugged" me, was actually the length, which is not a problem overall, but, because of it's masterful performance and idea, I wanted a longer game. But, I guess that's the future tip and a working motivation, to make game longer.

This is because I wanted to get into game development before I start to make bigger games, so this game was more of a test. But my future projects will definetly be longer!
